Wednesday Night

Speed Mingling Party - Thursday, March 11, 2010, 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Parish Hall
To kick off the new year and encourage new friendships, the St. Dominics Outreach Commission is sponsoring a parish-wide “Speed Mingling” party in conjunction with the Young Adults group. Modeled after speed networking, it’s a fast fun way to meet new people. Two people talk for several minutes, the facilitator rings a bell, and then they are off to enjoy the next conversation. After 30 minutes of speed mingling, we’ll enjoy an informal party and snacks as a group. Come join us, bring a friend, and mix and mingle. Everyone is welcome. Open your heart to new friendships. You never know what good – and fun - will come from them.

Young Adults Rosary - Wednesday, March 17, 2010, 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM, Friar's Chapel
Note:  Because of the renovations being made to the Lady Chapel's stained glass windows, the Rosary before the Wednesday night meeting is now being held in the Friar's Chapel (located behind the altar).

The purpose of the Rosary is to help keep in memory certain principal events or mysteries in the history of our salvation, and to thank and praise God for them. After a busy day, nothing calms the mind and soul like praying the rosary. Join the Young Adults in the Lady Chapel as we pray this beautiful prayer before our weekly meeting. Instructions and rosaries are provided. Everybody is welcomed! (Instructions located on small table in middle of the chapel if prayers have started). Join us for the last rosary of the year as we prepare for the birth of our Saviour!
