Family and Children Faith Formation (FCFF) Program
Registration for 2010-11 is now ready! Classes run from late September through May. Classes are held on most Sundays from 10:30-11:30am. This program includes classes for children of all ages, starting at age 3. Registration forms need to be mailed or handed in to the parish office. They are available at the church entrances or the parish office, as well as for download below. Family Orientation begins September 19th!
Children's Catechesis On Sunday mornings, 1st-8th grade classes meet in the Megan Furth Academy School building. The Pre-K Catechesis of the Good Shepherd "atrium" for ages 3-5 meets in the Aquinas room modular classroom next to Megan Furth Academy on St. Dominic's campus. There is something for every age, 3 and up! Junior High Youth Group, for grades 7-8th grade, will meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays from 4:00-5:30pm in the Siena Room. Adult/Parent Formation During children's classes on Sunday mornings, parents, guardians, and other adults are encouraged to meet for coffee, fellowship, resource workshops, and speakers in the School Cafeteria. Some topics we heard this last year were:
Sacramental Preparation and RCIA for children FCFF includes 2nd grade First Reconciliation and First Communion class (one year), as well as the 7-8th grade Pre-Confirmation + Confirmation class (two years). If your child is older than 2nd grade and still needs to make his/her First Communion they can make it the year that they join the program. Classes begin September 19th. Also, if your child is older than 7th-8th grade and still needs to make his/her Confirmation they can still join our program as well, beginning September 19th. RCIA-adapted for children/teens- is for those over age 7 who have not yet been baptized, or for those over age 9 who have not yet received 1st Communion, leading towards their initiation at the Easter Vigil or Easter Sunday, which is April 23-24, 2011.

Family Resource CenterThe Family Resource Center (FRC) at St. Dominic's includes religious books and DVD's for children and parents that are available for browsing and borrowing. Our selection promotes the building up of faith, knowledge of the Bible and Tradition, and nourishment of prayer in the home--the "domestic church." Families who have registered at St. Dominic's or who have regisered in FCFF may borrow materials.
