Coffee House 2009, November 6th and 7th

Hurry and get them before we sell out (both shows did last year)! Tickets for the Young Adults' Annual talent show extravaganza on November 6th and 7th (Parish Hall, doors open 7pm, curtain 7:30) are on sale via PayPal for only $10 in advance / $15 at the door. If you're coming, please buy tickets (pick your day below and click Add to Cart) as soon as possible so that we know how much food to buy. There are usually tickets available at the door though we did sell out both shows last year by curtain time.

This year's acts include the amazing singing talents of Frances Peterson and Michelle Phipps, instrumental performances by Andrew Lin on Cello, Carlitos Sermeno on Paraguayan Harp, dancing by Shirley Yap, the comedy stylings of Matt Safranek, Dave Smith's Weekend Update and of course, two long time favorites, the World Famous St. Dominic's Latin Band and Contemporary Choir. All this for only $10! The bulk of the proceeds benefit the Lima Center for the Homeless at St. Dominic's and the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology.

The food for sale is being provided again by Sarndra and Bobby and they've outdone themselves this year! Get ready to feast on Filet Mignon on a Sourdough Baguette, Oysters with Herbal Mignonette Sauce, Quesadillas, Caesar Salad and a few excellent pasta choices as well. Save room for dessert (or don't even eat dinner and have two) because Bobby is an absolutely amazing pastry chef and will be preparing carrot cake, cheesecake and the to-die-for flourless chocolate cake that sells out every year. Beer, wine and soda will also be for sale.
